Embedding a tool
One line. Any page of the house.
Every tool in this project is a piece any interface can paste in. The line below is the whole integration: it replaces itself with the tool, framed, with a full-screen button.
<script src="https://tool-snippets.did.lu/t.js" data-ferramenta="editor-de-humano"></script>
Here it is, in the middle of this text
Below this paragraph is a real embed. Notice that nothing on this page changed: no stylesheet of
ours landed in your <head>, no global was created, and the text keeps its own font.
The page continues right after it, exactly where it would be if the line were not there.
What you can pass
| Attribute | What it does |
|---|---|
data-ferramenta | Required. Which tool to open. |
data-item | The acervo item code, when the tool opens one. |
data-altura | Any CSS length. A bare number means pixels. Without it, the frame keeps a 4:3 ratio against the width your container gives it. |
data-lang | Language override. Otherwise the tool follows the browser. |
What never travels in the URL
Edit keys and content addresses arrive by postMessage, never as query parameters —
a URL ends up in browser history, server logs and referrer headers. A tool that accepted a key in
?chave= would publish it in all three at once.
